Code Definition
Code 24h: Motor Hall Error indicates there is a problem with a motor hull sensor. The motor hull sensor is an internal component that reads the rotation of the motor and sends signals to let the motor know when the next phase needs to be fired.
Symptom
- The LCD displays the check engine symbol
and 24h.
Possible Causes
- Miscommunication between the motor and the controller
- An electrical fault in the motor
Solution
Follow the steps below to check the connection between the controller and the motor:
- Preparation. Remove all batteries from the bike. Press and hold the power button on the button pad to discharge any remaining power.
- Disconnect the motor. Locate the cable coming out of the rear motor hub and carefully disconnect it.
- Inspect the inside of the connection. If you notice any dirt, damage, or bent pins, take photos and Submit a Warranty Claim or Start a Ticket for Assistance.
- Reconnect the motor cable. If the connector looks clean and undamaged, align the internal notches and pins and press them together firmly without twisting. Please take your time lining up the pins, as they can become damaged while reconnecting.
- Reinstall the battery. Reinstall the battery, turn on the bike, and check if the error persists.

If the error code still persists, please Submit a Warranty Claim or Start a Ticket for Assistance, including all actions taken so far and any other applicable information and documentation.
